Dr. <strong>Chrysanthi Taxiarchi<\/strong> presented the results of collaborative work on anti-drive, a genetic technology capable of limiting the activity of CRISPR\/Cas9-based gene drives in Anopheles mosquitoes.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The ability to inhibit gene drives or reverse their impact on mosquito populations is of great scientific and regulatory interest. In this regard, Polo GGB is currently conducting research funded by the <strong>Bill &amp; Melinda Gates Foundation<\/strong> titled &#8220;Anti-CRISPR and novel strategies for gene drive remediation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9655759 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"9655759\"
