Ragni, F. Tabarrini, M. Carucci, CE Lorenzetti, A. Cersini, S. Puccica, V. Antognetti, M. Milito; A. Giacomelli, G. Format, F. Panara<\/strong>, focuses on the development of <strong>diagnostic tests based on NALF technology<\/strong> (nanotechnology) for the detection and diagnosis of bees pathogens such as Deformed Wing Virus (DWV), Israeli Acute Paralysis Virus (IAPV) and the microsporidium Nosema (Nosema ceranae).\u00a0Among bees\u2019 diseases, Viruses and Nosemiasi are very common. Presenting symptoms rather generic, however, they are often underestimated by the industry, resulting in serious economic losses.<\/p>\n<p>Now, thanks to the development of nanotechnology, RAPID BIOTECH device makes it possible an early detection and diagnosis of the causative agents before spreading, with remarkable benefits for managing the disease and choosing therapy and prophylaxis solutions. <strong>The confirmation of the diagnosis obtained with a reduced use of instrumentation and directly &#8220;on field&#8221;<\/strong>, bypassing specialized laboratory analysis, allows a timely and effective prevention of the disease. Due to its innovative appeal, the project generated a great interest among the participants of the conference.\u00a0The project has been hosted in the facilities of the Polo d\u2019Innovazione di
