This can include more frequent screenings, lifestyle changes, or, in specific cases, evaluating targeted preventive treatments.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Polo GGB&#8217;s Prevention Initiative<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In this context, <strong>Polo GGB<\/strong>, in collaboration with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.centrodiagnosticosenese.it\/\">Centro Diagnostico Senese<\/a> (CDS)<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liltsiena.it\/\"><strong>LILT Siena<\/strong><\/a>, is launching an important initiative for women in the Siena area. The project offers a free questionnaire followed by a genetic consultation with a specialist to assess individual genetic risk. This service is part of <strong>Polo GGB<\/strong>\u2019s broader &#8220;<strong>Progetto Donna&#8221; (Women&#8217;s Project).<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>The \u201cProgetto Donna\u201d and BRCA1\/2 Cancer<\/strong><strong> Prevention<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The \u201c<strong>Progetto Donna<\/strong>\u201d is designed to provide women with concrete and accessible tools to increase awareness of the risk factors associated with <strong>BRCA1<\/strong> and <strong>BRCA2<\/strong> genetic mutations. Identifying genetic predisposition through targeted screening can save lives, allowing the adoption of preventive strategies or personalized monitoring plans.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Free Genetic Consueling<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Thanks to the support of <strong>CDS<\/strong> and <strong>LILT Siena<\/strong>, women can access a free questionnaire and genetic consultation. During the consultation, a specialist evaluates family history and other key factors that may indicate a predisposition to <strong>BRCA<\/strong> mutations.
