The surveillance of mosquito habitat help us understanding mosquito ecology and develop tools to predict mosquito activity, conduct accurate laboratory studies and, subsequently, assess disease risks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What did we found?<\/strong> We determined the abundance of mosquito aquatic stages (larvae and pupae) and characteristics of breeding sites (type and water volume, water temperature, conductivity and turbidity).<\/p>\n<p>Results are described in the manuscript \u201cA litmus test for harmonized mosquito monitoring across Europe and Africa\u201d, available on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biorxiv.org\/content\/10.1101\/2020.01.30.927020v1\">bioRxiv<\/a>, the preprint server for biology.
