“Top Italian Scientist” (T.I.S.) seminar series

Friday, October 24, the new seminar series Top Italian Scientist” gets started.
The series will be inaugurated by Prof. Brunangelo Falini (#TIS 1), with a speech entitled “Genomics of hairy-cell leukemia: implications for biology and new therapeutic perspectives”.
Prof. Falini is the Director of the “Struttura Complessa di Ematologia” – Ospedale S. Maria Misericordia, Perugia – and is a world renowned scientist in the Oncology and Ematology fields.
T.I.S. seminar series will feature a brand-new, “horizontal” approach, with students/researchers acting as main contributors to the interaction.
A 45-minute “Q&A Session” will follow the speech, allowing attendees to ask questions to the speakers about their professional/personal experience. This is meant to be an open, flexible space, for powering the debate, available for all the people in attendance (from expert researchers to young students).
It will also be presented the “Top Italian Student” contest: an award-winning competition which enable participants to receive scientific gifts.
