Draw the line against Malaria

The World Malaria Day, held on April 25, raises awareness of the global effort to control and ultimately eradicate one of the world’s oldest and deadliest diseases.

The staff of the Centre of Genomics and Ecology of the PoloGGB works on the fore front to fight malaria that still records more than 200 million cases, annually. We are primarily involved in several different international research projects aimed at developing novel genetic strategies for mosquito control.

On this occasion, PoloGGB actively joins the campaign “Draw the line against malaria” to bring attention and drive actions for a forceful and global fight against the malaria burden.
