Demonstration Event
On March 12 2014 a demonstration event of the project “Molecular diagnostics in stable – Cow are you?” will take place. The project, funded by the Regione Umbria (Measure 124 – PSR) and coordinated by the Polo GGB, aims to develop and validate a brand new low cost medical diagnostic assay to directly identify respiratory diseases in cattle.
The event, organized in collaboration with Park 3A – Agribusiness Technology Park in Umbria and ANABIC, will be joined by farmers that have been actively involved in the project, with the purpose of explaining the technical operation of the diagnostic assay, carrying out practical tests directly on cattle, and describing the advantages of the device compared to traditional methods.
