This predictive tool is the result of scientific research conducted in collaboration with Prof. Filippo Murina, Head of the Lower Genital Tract Pathology Service at “V. Buzzi” Hospital, University of Milan.
SoReal stands out for its ability to accurately identify the predisposition to symptoms typically associated with vulvodynia through shallow whole genome sequencing (SWGS) combined with the calculation of polygenic risk scores (PRS), allowing for targeted therapeutic treatment.
This test represents a significant advancement in the treatment of vulvodynia, reducing diagnostic times and improving therapeutic outcomes for patients.
